Rosanne Bannister – Principio Iron Works

Rosanne Bannister is an illustrator and designer with a love for all things architectural and geometric. She completed a BA in 3D Materials Practice from the University of Brighton; it is where she first began to explore city landscapes and the theme of architecture. Now Rosanne takes inspiration from the surroundings of the city of London and the eclectic qualities of the buildings that inhabit the spaces she explores. Rosanne illustrates buildings using fine liner pen. By simplifying the lines and removing the colour of the building, the details that a building is made up of become clearer. This illustration was done especially for Lives, Loves and Loss: Traces at Fenton House, and depicts the Iron works Joshua Gee part owned in Maryland.
