Sarah Walton tells stories using the tactile method of embroidery, creating characters using my sewing machine with black thread as the pencil and bright floral fabric as the paint. Her main inspiration comes from people, their relationships with each other, and every day life. Inspired by simple moments of happiness and she try’s to freeze these moments in time, like a photograph, creating a joyful memory imprinted on fabric.
